Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lost 12 lakh votes in PR category, how many votes did other parties have?

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has garnered 12 lakh votes in the proportional representation (PR) vote cast in the House of Representatives elections.

According to the data released by the Election Commission, a total of 2,392,587 proportional representation votes have been counted in various constituencies of the country so far. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) alone has garnered 12,11,630 votes. That’s 50.64 percent.

The Nepali Congress (NC) is the second largest proportional representation vote. The Congress has garnered 406,761 votes, or 17 per cent.

Similarly, the CPN-UML has garnered 3,24,696 votes and the CPN (Maoist Centre) has bagged 157,611 votes. The UML has won 13.58 per cent of the total votes and the NCP has 6.59 per cent.

The rest of the votes were cast by other parties, including the RPP.
