Kathmandu. Neco Insurance Limited, which has been providing service in the insurance market of the country for 30 years, has completed 30 glorious years of its service and has entered into its 31st year from Jestha 17, 2083. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the company has successfully organized a blood donation program under its corporate social responsibility. The program held at the company’s central office, Bima Bhawan, Gyaneshwor saw enthusiastic participation from the employees and general public.
A total of 53 pints of blood were collected through the programme. The company has expressed its gratitude to all the blood donors who participated in the humanitarian work like blood donation and contributed to make the program a success.
The technical support for the blood donation program was received from Nepal Mediciti Hospital. In addition to blood collection, health check-ups of the participating staff and general public were also done free of cost so that the participants could get an initial information about their health condition. They got the information.
The event, organized to increase blood availability in the society and to increase health awareness, has further solidified the company’s commitment towards social service.
