Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank is going to issue right shares.
The board of directors of the bank has decided to issue 50 percent right shares at a ratio of 2:1 i.e. 14.91 billion with a paid-up capital of Rs 14.91 billion. As per the agreement, the bank will be issuing 7,45,87,835 units of right shares worth Rs 7,45,87,83,500 to its shareholders.
The bank said it will seek prior approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) for the issuance of right shares. After the prior agreement of the NRB, the proposal to bring these right shares will now be presented in its AGM for approval.
