NEPSE plunges 32 points to Rs 21.5 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market closed down by double digits on the second trading day after the elections. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 6 percent to close within an hour of the market opening. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 32 points to close at 2,843 points.

Share prices of 78 companies increased and 178 declined. A total of 52.7 million 11,353 shares of 329 companies were traded on the day. Shares of Ngadi Group Power Ltd were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 1.09 billion have been transacted.

Shares of Ankhukhola Hydropower Company worth Rs 69.64 crore were traded. Shares of Api Power worth Rs 61.68 crore were traded. Shares worth Rs 59.87 crore were traded in the company.

Today, the investors of Reliance Spinning Mills have earned the most money. Today, the company’s investors have earned 10 percent. Investors of Salpa Development Bank earned 9.99 percent of the profit. Investors of Three Star have earned 9 percent.

Today, most of the investors in Himstar Energy have lost. Today, the company’s investors have lost 6 percent.
