Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Company has announced a dividend for the fiscal year 2080.81A.
The company’s board of directors meeting has decided to distribute a total dividend of 15.79 percent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 1.64 billion 42 lakh 41 thousand 939.94 from the profit of the fiscal year. This includes bonus shares worth Rs 246,636,290.90 at a rate of 15 percent and cash dividends worth Rs 12,980,857.42 at a rate of 0.79 percent for bonus share tax purposes.
The company has stated that the proposed dividend will be approved and distributed at the upcoming annual general meeting after the approval of the Nepal Insurance Authority.
