Kathmandu. Changunarayan, Bhaktapur, Nepal Engineering College and Vianet Communications Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to connect the students of Telecommunication and IT subjects with industry.
The college has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vianet Communication, the leading internet provider of Nepal, to enhance the capacity of undergraduate students and bring them closer to industry and business.
The MoU was signed by College Principal Durga Prasad Bhandari and Corporate Sales Manager of Vionet Communications Ranju Lama and assistant professor of computer engineering Krishna Bikram Shah.
The MoU is aimed at enhancing the skills, industry exposure and employment of the students of Nepal Engineering College. According to this, special training will be conducted to make the learning of the students effective and to make them employable, career placements will be done in the telecommunication and IT sector.
Durga Prasad Bhandari, Principal of the college, said that the partnership with Vionet will help bridge the gap between education and industry, help create a global experience of education and prepare skilled human resources for the future. The college has been collaborating with various business organizations and industries to make the learning of the students more effective and to gain experience in the industry and business sector from the student life.
