As per the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, the bank has been conducting various programs under its corporate social responsibility in different areas such as financial literacy, education, health, natural disaster management, environment conservation, cultural promotion, infrastructure improvement, sustainable development goals, human service and philanthropic work.
As a part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has provided financial support to the girls students of Shree Prithvi Secondary School (Mechinagar-07), Shree Prithvi Secondary School (Jhapa), Shree Salyan Sukhaura Secondary School (Bareng Rural Municipality-04), Baglung, Shree Banshagopal Basic School (Hetauda-01) and Shree Nawadurga Primary School (Chitwan) ।
Under this scheme, the bank has distributed 80 units of Bhola to the poor and meritorious students of Shree Krishna Basic School, Shuklaphanta Municipality-01, Ramnagar, Kanchanpur. The school bholas were distributed during a program on 2083/03/12 with the aim of making it easier for the students to study.
Similarly, Jeetpur-Simara Sub-Metropolitan City, Ward No. In order to further develop the educational aspect and make the teaching activities more technology-friendly, the bank has provided a laptop through the branch office of the bank. The assistance has been provided so that no one should be deprived of quality education due to lack of financial resources.
The bank has provided financial assistance for the purchase of various medical and sports materials including thermometer, BP set, first aid box, stretcher and various other medical and sports materials for the adolescent friendly information center of Shikhodaya Secondary School located at Kedarsyu-04, Bagthala, Bajhang.
Likewise, 10 dustbins have been handed over to Shree Bhairavnath Temple in Ribdikot Rural Municipality Ward No. 04 of Palpa district for the effective management of garbage. Likewise, financial assistance has been provided for the construction of drinking water infrastructure with RO at Shree Rastriya Secondary School, Bhimphedi-1, Sanutar, Makwanpur through the Bank’s branch office, Hetauda.
The financial assistance has been given to expand access to quality drinking water keeping in mind the principle of clean water and the basis of healthy life. Likewise, Shree Nepal National Primary School, Chapur-10, Rautahat has been provided with a white digital board as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The bank, which has been providing quality financial services at the doorstep of the people of Nepal in a relentless manner in keeping with its vision of “Sabal Bank, Safal Collaboration”, has recently inaugurated a digital hub with coffee lounge at Gyaneshwor, KMC Ward No. 30, Kathmandu.
