Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have collected a total insurance premium of over Rs 40.5 billion in the fiscal year 2082/83. According to the data published by the Nepal Insurance Authority, life insurance companies have been able to collect a total insurance premium of Rs 40.54 billion by selling 483,664 insurance policies during this period.
Nepal Life Insurance Company has collected the highest total insurance premium during this period. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 10.58 billion during this period. National Life Insurance has collected Rs 10.58 billion in total insurance premiums during this period. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 4.85 billion during this period. National Life Insurance Company is in the third position. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 4.41 billion during this period.
Himalayan Life has collected a total premium of Rs 3.59 billion. LIC Nepal has collected a total premium of Rs 3.67 billion. Met Life has collected a total premium of Rs 1.19 billion. Asian Life has collected a total premium of Rs 1.82 billion. IME Life has collected a total premium of Rs 1.48 billion.
Sun Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 77.72 crore. Reliable Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 1.26 billion. Citizen Life has collected a total premium of Rs 1.69 billion. Surya Jyoti Life has collected a total premium of Rs 2.46 billion. Sanima Reliance Life has collected a total premium of Rs 1.42 billion. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life has collected a total premium of Rs 1.27 billion.
