Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Conducts Free Health Camp

Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has organized a free health camp on the premises of Shree Durga Devi Secondary School at Siyari-6, Bardahawa of Rupandehi district. The health camp included orthopaedic and nerve-related diseases, gynecology and obstetrics, ENT, internal diseases and dental and oral diseases.

More than 600 people attended the health camp with technical assistance from Lumbini Hospital, Lumbini Netralaya and Hare Krishna Dental, Butwal. The main objectives of the program were to help people in the community identify health problems at an early stage, raise awareness about health and prevention.

The participants were given health check-up, counseling and necessary suggestions from Lumbini Hospital, Lumbini Netralaya and Hare Krishna Dental, Butwal. Emperor Parajuli and Dr. Alok Thiev, Dr. Jeevan Atreya and Dr. Anita Pun, Dr. Krishna Bahadur Shrestha and Dr. Vishwa Tulachan, Dr. Prakash Bhattarai and Dr. Smita Darlami.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Bhim Prasad Tulachan, Director of the Bank, said that such health camps will play an important role in improving the health standard of the community and expressed commitment that the bank will continue to conduct such programs in the days to come. Similarly, Butwal Regional Chief Hemanta Babu Acharya said that such programs would be effective in raising awareness about health and expressed the view that collaboration with local community would be further strengthened.

The local community responded positively to the program and thanked the banks and health workers.
