Kathmandu. KATHMANDU, Feb 11 (RSS): Nepal Engineering College in collaboration with Research and Innovation Centre for Nepal (RNC) has successfully organized the I Triple E International Information & Communication Technology and Photonics Conference 2026 at Hyatt Centric Kathmandu from February 11 to 14.
The conference brought together researchers, academicians, industry experts and scholars from national and international institutions to share the latest achievements and research findings in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The technical sessions included paper presentations, expert lectures and discussions on emerging technologies, innovations and global research collaborations.
The conference was inaugurated by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Heite-young Park as the chief guest. The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shrestha of the National Laboratory of Microwave Photonics at Nanjing University, China. The development was done by the non-workers.
President of Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology Prof. Dr. Rajendra Dhoj Joshi and Secretary of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology Dr. Dr. Rabindra Prasad Dhakal and Prof. Arun Timilsina, President of I Triple E Nepal Section.
The conference was co-chaired by Prof. Durga Prasad Bhandari, Principal, Nepal Engineering College, and Prof. Pramod Shrestha, Dean, Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation, Korea. Dr. Dr. Xiung Hun Han, Associate Professor of Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology, E. Ganga Subba and Assistant Prof. Professor to the President of Nanjing Aeronautics and Astronautics University, China. Dr. Shillong Pan was there.
Other distinguished guests included Dr. Vivek Oberoi, Associate Professor, Pokhara University School of Engineering. Dipanjal Shrestha, Engineer Birodh Rijal, Assistant Professor of Pokhara University, Dr. Professor at Nepal College of Information Technology Engineer Niranjan Khakurel and Prof Dr TD Subash of Zhejiang University of China were present on the occasion.
The college would like to express its gratitude to the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and the Department of Computer Engineering for their significant contribution in making the conference a success. Also, special thanks are given to the NC Eye Triple E Student Chapter for their active participation and dedication. On the occasion, the college would like to thank Associate Professor Sachin Shrestha, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, for his excellent support, leadership and continuous efforts.
