Kathmandu. Insurance companies will now have to make all types of payments electronically.
The Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has issued a circular to all the insurance companies (life, non-life, micro, reinsurance and insurance brokers) today.
The circular has also directed the government to make arrangements for making all types of payments through electronic means compulsorily in the bank accounts of the concerned person or institution from January 1.
