Kathmandu. IME Life Insurance Company Limited, as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, has provided a financial assistance of Rs. 100,000 crore to Fellowship Society Nepal. Rs 5 lakh has been provided. The support will provide educational materials such as Braille paper, slate and stylus, computer and screen reader software for visually impaired students in various schools across the country.
With the support of IME Life Insurance, students of three schools in Lolang, Kathmandu, Dang and Surkhet will be benefited. This support of the company is expected to ensure easy access to education to the visually impaired children studying in these schools.
The company believes that inclusive education and equal opportunity are important foundations of social development, and it has prioritized such social programs. It is expected that providing the necessary educational materials to visually impaired students will have a positive impact on their academic achievement and self-confidence.
