IGI Prudential Insurance provides support to displaced families

Kathmandu. IGI Prudential Insurance Limited purchased 32 units of Shiraks worth Rs. 100,000 and handed them over to the displaced families under its corporate social responsibility amidst a program organized at the company’s central office, Panipokhari, Kathmandu.

Due to the incessant rainfall in Kalikot district of Karnali Province from October 1 to 24, 2082, Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality of Kalikot district has been affected. Ward No. 2, 3, 7 and 8, Mahawai Rural Municipality Ward No. Khandachakra Municipality Ward No. 1 and 5. 1 & 5, Tilagufa Municipality Ward No. Families who have been affected by the damage in Ward No. 10 and 7 of Tilagufa Municipality. Ward No. 5 & 6, Khandachakra N.P. Ward No. A total of 57 families of the village, including the fire victims of Ward No. 10, have been completely displaced due to the incessant rains.

On the occasion, Company CEO Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha handed over the assistance to Tek Raj Shahi, chairman of Karnali Province Tourism and Cultural Preservation Centre. CEO Shrestha thanked Karnali Province Tourism and Cultural Protection Center for collaboration with the company to support the families displaced by the natural disaster. Shrestha also wished for the speedy rehabilitation of the victims of natural disasters and expressed commitment that IGI Prudential Insurance Limited would continue to carry out similar CSR activities in future as well.

On the occasion, Chairman of Karnali Province Tourism and Cultural Preservation Center, Tek Raj Shahi, appreciated the efforts made for the relief of the victims and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the IGI Prudential Insurance Limited family.
