Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Himalayan Life Insurance Company (LIC) has announced 50% discount on late fee (interest and penalty) on policy renewal÷renew.
The company made this announcement by issuing a notice today. According to the notice, the policy holders who have lapsed their policies from Prime Life Insurance, Union Life Insurance and Gurans Life Insurance will get 50% discount on late fee if they renew from June 15 to July 2. “This exemption will be provided on renewal irrespective of the expiry of the period,” the notice reads.
To get this discount, the company has put forward 2 conditions before the insured.
The conditions are:
- The discount provided for the revival of such a spent policy will be provided only once during the term of the policy.
If the insurance policies renewed by the Company using the late fee waiver facility will be deducted if the insured and the proposals wish to surrender as per the rules within 2 years from the date of renewal of the policy.TAG_OPEN_li_13
The company can contact any regional, sub-provincial, branch and sub-branch office of the company to renew the policy by using this discount.
