Kathmandu. The Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited has successfully completed the reconstruction of the Supreme Court Coordination Security Police Unit damaged during the Zenji agitation on September 7.
Through this reconstruction, the company has made a significant contribution as part of its CSR to work in sensitive organizations like protection and security of public infrastructure. With the timely completion of the reconstruction, the concerned police unit has resumed regular service from the newly constructed unit.
On the occasion, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) of Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ishwor Karki, thanked the service seekers who came to the Supreme Court for justice by reconstructing the damaged office building and the security of the Supreme Court premises.
Speaking at the ceremony, CEO of Sagarmatha Insurance Ltd, Anju Shrestha, said that the company will continue to prioritize the public welfare and social responsibility works in the days ahead.
Along with the reconstruction, the company also provided two computers, two drawers, a printer, 12 chairs and nine tables to the police unit.
