Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is to invest Rs 6.34 billion in fixed deposits of banks.
The central bank is to invest Rs 6.34 billion in fixed deposits of banks. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has urged banks to offer interest rates by 12 midnight on March 30.
Out of the total amount, the central bank will invest Rs 5.07 billion in commercial banks, Rs 951.2 million in national level development banks and Rs 317 million in national level finance companies.
According to the central bank, this investment will be for 366 days from March 13, 2026 to February 13, 2027.
