Encouraging rise in both NEPSE index and transaction volume

Kathmandu. The market, which had fallen continuously since the second trading day after the election, closed today with a double-digit gain. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 23.87 points to close at 2820 points. Today, the share prices of 176 companies have increased while the prices of 77 companies have fallen.

A total of 4,16,86,000 shares of 335 companies were traded on the day. Shares of National Hydropower Ltd were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 67.79 crore were traded. Promoter shares of HIDCL worth Rs 56.83 crore were traded. Shares of Kumari Bank worth Rs 44.76 crore were traded. Shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Ltd worth Rs 440 million have been traded.

Investors of Salapa Development Bank and Reliance Spinning Mills earned the most today. Today, investors of these two companies have earned 10 percent. Investors of National Hydropower Company earned 9.97 percent of the profit. Hotel Forest Inca
