Kathmandu. So far, only 8 development banks have declared dividends for the fiscal year 2080/81. These banks have declared dividends to be distributed to shareholders based on the current paid-up capital from the profits of the previous year. The development banks that have declared dividends so far are Green Development Bank, Kamana Sewa Development Bank, Shine Resunga Development Bank, Miteri Development Bank, Mahalaxmi Development Bank, Shangrila Development Bank, Garima Development Bank and Lumbini Development Bank.
Green Development Bank has decided to distribute a total of 6.0527 percent dividend to its shareholders from the profits of the previous fiscal year. Out of which 5.75 percent is bonus shares and 0.3027 percent is cash dividend for tax purposes. The bank has not set a book close date for the general meeting and dividend distribution.
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has announced that it will distribute a total dividend of 12 percent to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. Out of which, 7 percent is bonus shares and 5 percent is cash dividend including tax purposes.
Shine Resunga Development Bank has decided to distribute a total dividend of 8 percent to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. Of which, 3 percent is bonus shares and 5 percent is cash dividend including tax purposes.
Miteri Development Bank has announced that it will distribute a total dividend of 10.083 percent of the current paid-up capital from the profit of the last fiscal year. Of which, 9.5079 percent is bonus shares and 0.5004 percent is cash dividend for tax purposes.
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has announced that it will give a total dividend of 7 percent from the profit of the last fiscal year. Of which, 3 percent is bonus shares and 4 percent is cash dividend including tax purposes.
Shangrila Development Bank has decided to give a total dividend of 3.84 percent from the profit of the last fiscal year. Of which, 3.65 percent is bonus shares and 0.19 percent is cash dividend for tax purposes.
Garima Bikas Bank has decided to give a total cash dividend of 5 percent to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company has decided not to give bonus shares this year.
Lumbini Bikas Bank has announced that it will give a total dividend of 7 percent from the profit of the last year. Of which, 3 percent is bonus shares and 4 percent is cash dividend for tax purposes.
Except for Green Development Bank, all the development banks that have declared dividends have closed their books. Most of these development banks have also held their general meetings.
