Musk was criticized from all sides after joining US President Donald Trump and there was a campaign to boycott Tesla cars. There have also been many incidents of attacks on Tesla cars in the US.
Tesla car sales have fallen sharply in recent years. As a result, the company’s profit has decreased along with income. According to the company, in the first quarter of 2025, revenue decreased by 20 percent compared to the previous year and the profit decreased by 70 percent.
Experts have warned that the company’s financial losses due to Musk’s involvement in politics could increase further. Musk currently heads the Trump Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
