Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump’s popularity is steadily declining.
According to the latest Reuters and Ipsos poll, Trump’s performance approval rating has fallen to 33 percent. This is the lowest level of his current tenure.
Sixty-four percent of Americans surveyed approve of Trump’s performance as president, while only 33 percent approve. A poll earlier this month put Trump’s approval rating at 35 percent.
According to the poll, Trump’s current approval rating is at its lowest level in his first term. In the previous term, his approval rating was also recorded at 33 percent in December 2017.
The survey also highlighted Americans’ concerns about the Iran war. About 80 percent said they feared a prolongation of war between the United States and Iran. –Agency
