Kathmandu. Coca-Cola in Nepal has launched a new campaign called “Momo FOMO”. This campaign is the first of its kind in Nepal that will run all over Nepal. Which is going to celebrate the love of the favorite dish of Nepalese Momo. Momo is a dish that helps people on the streets, at home and in the city to get closer to each other.
The main attraction of this campaign is a new digital program. It will travel across the country to find the most popular Momo places in Nepal. From the famous restaurants in the city to the best momo shops hidden in the neighborhood, there will be unique stories to introduce you to the rich culture of momo in Nepal, to meet the enthusiastic businessmen who operate the shop and make each place special.
Momo and Coca-Cola have long been a favorite food pairing in Nepal. Momo and Coca-Cola are a favorite choice for many when it comes to a quick lunch with friends, a family outing, or a late-night meal. The campaign aims to celebrate this everyday experience and show that the chilling taste of Coca-Cola makes the moment of eating a momo even more enjoyable.
Consumers across the country will also get an opportunity to participate in this campaign. People will be able to search, rate and share their momo eating experiences through a special microsite created for the campaign. Participants will be able to upload photos or experiences, rate restaurants, and participate in a variety of activities, including a chance to win daily, weekly and special prizes.
More than 200 momo shops across Nepal are participating in this campaign. Momo FOMO aims to create national excitement about one of Nepal’s most loved foods, inspire people to discover new flavours of local food, honour its heroes and enjoy the popular combination of Momo and Coca-Cola.
With this campaign, Coca-Cola reiterates its commitment to connect people with one another through shared dining experiences while respecting local cultures.
