Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has provided warm sweaters to 300 students of Saraswati Secondary School in Rini, Patarasi Rural Municipality-7 from Jumla Branch of Karnali Province. The bank provided this support under its Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
The sweaters were handed over as a gesture of support through the Jumla branch of Yes Bank during a function held at the school. The warm sweaters were distributed to students from poor backgrounds in rural areas to help them go to school during the winter.
The bank believes that this initiative will help in the educational program of schools in rural areas. In the coming days, the bank plans to run various programs to bring positive changes in the fields of social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
