Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International has provided reverse osmosis system to the dialysis unit of Seti Provincial Hospital. The bank has provided the equipment to the hospital located in Dhangadhi-1, Kailali as part of its corporate social responsibility.
This support is expected to further strengthen the dialysis service provided to kidney patients across the Far-Western Province.
Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Ganesh Raj Pokharel handed over the RO system to the hospital’s dialysis unit amidst a function held at Seti Provincial Hospital.
The dialysis unit of the hospital has been providing services to 242 regular patients in three shifts through 21 dialysis machines.
Keeping in view the immediate need of the hospital, the bank had identified the most primary need in consultation with the hospital management team. Accordingly, the highest priority was given to the establishment of the system required to ensure sustainable and safe treatment services for the dialysis unit.
