Kathmandu. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Himalayan Investment Banker Limited has been relieved of his duties. The meeting of the board of directors of the company held on May 30 has decided to sack the CEO of the company, Sumer Shumsher Rana.
According to Kapil Dahal, chairman of the company, the board of directors of the company took the decision after the investigation into money laundering was underway. The Department of Money Laundering Investigation and the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) are investigating Rana.
