Kathmandu. The government has announced that the capital market will be developed as per international standards to make it safe and competitive. The next fiscal year 2083. President Ram Chandra Poudel said this while presenting the policies and programmes for the Fiscal Year 84 in the joint session of the Federal Parliament.
Participation of institutional investors, pension funds, insurance, mutual funds and Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) will be expanded through restructuring of securities regulation, NEPSE and clearing system. Long-term capital will be created by developing debt markets, bond markets, infrastructure bonds and risk management tools.
