Kathmandu. Today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers took 7 decisions.
Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel, who is also the Spokesperson of the government, made public the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers.
Here are the decisions

- Statistics (First Amendment) Regulations, 2083 will be approved.
- Appointment of Yankee Ukyab as Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board.
- Animal Slaughterhouse and Meat Testing Act, 2055 to be implemented in a phased manner throughout the state of Nepal.
- Arrangements for compensation, relief and treatment to those killed and injured during the demonstrations in Sunsari and Siraha districts.
Repeal the Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Committee Formation Order, 2054 BS and approve the merger of Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Committee with Nepal Transit and Warehousing Management Company.TAG_OPEN_li_20

Prof TAG_OPEN_li_17 Dr Khadga Bahadur KC will be appointed as the chairman and Prof Dr Rajesh Shrestha as the secretary of the University Grants Commission.
