Kathmandu. Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited has announced a dividend to be distributed to its shareholders from the profit of the last financial year. The company has also called a general meeting.
The company has announced to distribute bonus shares at the rate of 5 percent of its current paid-up capital. To endorse the proposal, the company has decided to hold its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 3 at Anmol Benquet, Shankhamul, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 9:30 am.
The meeting will also pass a proposal to distribute a cash dividend of 0.2632 percent for the tax purposes of the proposed bonus and bonus shares. It will also pass resolutions to issue 100 percent right shares, amend the Memorandum of Association and Regulations, issue bonds to convert them into ordinary shares, and appoint an auditor.
The company will close the book for one day on October 26 for the purpose of the general meeting and dividend distribution. According to this, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till October 25 will participate in the meeting of the company and will receive the proposed dividend.
