Barah Agro Foods Launches 100% Natural ‘Barah Moringa’

Kathmandu. Baraha Agro Foods has brought ‘Baraha Moringa’ to the market by producing Moringa (Sajiban/Shitalchini) which is considered useful in boosting the body’s immunity and reducing the risk of various diseases.

Speaking at a program organized in the capital on Saturday, Bhagawati Chaudhary, a leading leader of women economic empowerment and former minister, said that natural and pure food products will help in the promotion of healthy lifestyle.

She said that the Baraha Moringa produced in Barahakhetra-1 of Sunsari is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and proteins. The campaign aims to promote women entrepreneurship and youth self-employment by commercializing local products.

According to former minister Chaudhary, moringa provides essential nutrients to the body and helps flush out toxins from the body. It is also useful in lifestyle problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, she said. She stressed on the need to expand the production and consumption of moringa fruit as it is delicious and nutritious.

According to the organizers, Baraha Moringa, produced under the technical management of Rural Women Curiosity Development Forum with the active participation of local indigenous and indigenous women, aims to promote women entrepreneurship and youth self-employment in rural areas by expanding it across the country.

The project, funded by UNDP, DZI Foundation and LWR, was expected to play an important role in strengthening the rural economy by commercializing local products.
