Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) inaugurates 13th Kriti Awards

Kathmandu. The inaugural session of the Red Bull 13th Kriti Awards 2083 organized by the Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) was formally concluded through the ‘Kriti Ignite’ program.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Bikram Timilsina was the chief guest of the program. Representatives of various industries and business sectors along with advertising and communication sector participated in the program.

The Kriti Awards have been honoring creativity and excellence in the field of advertising and communication in Nepal. This year’s edition is also being organized in collaboration and support of various professional and regulatory bodies. The awards are supported by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Advertising Board of the Government of Nepal.

Similarly, Broadcasting Association of Nepal (BAN), Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (ACORAB), Radio Broadcasters Forum, Nepal Media Society and Media Alliance Nepal are the co-organizers of the Kriti Awards from this year. Nominations are also open for non-members of AAN.

According to the organizers, the participation of various business organizations and media organizations is expected to make the Kriti Awards more comprehensive and inclusive. The organizers believe that this will further contribute to the promotion of creativity and professional excellence in Nepal’s advertising and communication industry.

An audio-visual presentation depicting the development of the Nepali advertising and mass communication sector was also made in the program. Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar, former president of AAN, promoter of Kriti Awards and founder president of Media Alliance Nepal, gave the welcome speech at the event.

Surendra Siwal, Managing Director of Saras Beverage, the top sponsor of the 13th Kriti Awards, and Santosh Shrestha, Chairman of the Advertising Board, also extended their best wishes. AAN’s President Sudip Thapa proposed the vote of thanks.

According to the organizers, the Kriti Awards 2083 will begin to recognize the best creations and contributions in the advertising and communication sector of Nepal.
