Kathmandu. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Nepal Engineering College, Changunarayan, Bhaktapur and Cambridge, Kathmandu to collaborate with students studying IT.
The college, which operates as a not-for-profit social organization, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cambridge to establish its unique identity in the field of educational consultancy with the aim of connecting the undergraduate students with industry and business.
According to the agreement, college students will now be able to intern in Cambridge. Under this collaboration, Cambridge will provide students with a three-month internship program that will provide hands-on training in digital marketing, information technology, website management, digital media operations, business communication and communication skills.
Anshu Ghimire, Head of Department of Computer Engineering at the college, and Shishir Simkhada, Founding Director of Cambridge, signed the MoU on Thursday.
“We have also been giving information about education in the country while counseling the students for the Arbod Study. We encourage students who want to study at home as much as possible. Simkhada, managing director of Cambridge, said.
Stating that Nepal Engineering College has made a huge contribution to the development and expansion of engineering education in Nepal, he urged the government to bring concrete plans for the upgradation and development of domestic educational institutions.
On the other hand, Anshu Ghimire, head of the computer engineering department of the college, said that the college is an excellent educational institution for the students studying various subjects of computer engineering as well as engineering. She also said that the college is always ready to expand the scope of knowledge and education of the students.
