Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has taken action against Vindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company.
NEPSE has taken action against Vindhyabasini Hydropower for not submitting information about the annual general meeting, book closure and dividend distribution decisions on time. The company had taken the decision at 3:30 pm on October 11. However, the company had submitted these decisions to NEPSE at 5:59 pm on October 11.
According to the Securities Listing Bylaws, 2075, the concerned company should submit the information, information and information affecting the price of securities to NEPSE on the same day of creation or the next day before the opening of the transaction. However, due to the delay in submitting these decisions, NEPSE has been directed to postpone the listing of Bindhyabasini Hydropower and submit an explanation on the reason for not being able to submit it on time within 3 working days.
With this action, the trading of shares of Bindhyabasini Hydropower Company has been suspended.
