Kathmandu. On the occasion of World Investors Week 2026, Sun Securities Stock Broker No. 64 organized four different programs from October 7 to 23 with the objective of increasing investor awareness, financial literacy and knowledge related to capital markets.
These programs have been organized with the objective of providing investors with accurate information about the capital market, enhancing financial decision-making skills and developing practical knowledge of investment among the students. As part of the program, an investor interaction program was organized at the office of Sun Securities on October 7, 2083.
In the program, stock market analysts Purushottam Chimoriya and Astitva Sharma interacted with the participants on the current situation of Nepal’s capital market, market prospects and challenges, investment strategy and risk management. The participants had the opportunity to interact directly with the experts and raise their market inquiries and make their investment understanding clearer.
Similarly, on the occasion of World Investors Week on October 8, 2083, Sun Securities conducted two separate programs. Under the first program, financial literacy classes were conducted for the students of Suprabhat College, Gwarko, Lalitpur.
The class covered the importance of savings, personal financial management, basic knowledge of capital markets, the process of investing in the stock market, investment opportunities and risks, and prudent investment decisions. The main objective of this program was to develop financial discipline and responsible investing thinking among the students.
On the same day, an investor meet and tea reception was also organized. In the program, the current situation of Nepal’s capital market, market possibilities and challenges and future investment strategies were discussed through direct interaction with the investors.
Investors had the opportunity to share their inquiries, experiences and ideas. The program aimed to promote informed and responsible investing by strengthening the relationship between investors and broker companies.
Similarly, on October 7, 2083, a broker visit program was organized for the students of Quest International College at the Trading Hall located at the office of Sun Securities.
Through the program, the students got first-hand knowledge about the working of securities broker companies, share trading process, online trading system, services provided to investors and practical aspects of Nepal’s capital market.
The program was conducted with the objective of connecting the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom with practical experience and to familiarize the students with the real working of the capital market.
These programs were conducted under the facilitation of Sun Securities employees Bibek Adhikari, Deepak Raj Pant, Dipesh Neupane and Rahul Thapaliya . They provided the participants with information on the basic concept of capital markets, practical aspects of the investment process, the need for financial literacy and risk identification and management.
The company believes that all the four programs conducted on the occasion of the World Investor Week will contribute to the enhancement of financial knowledge among students and investors, develop a positive and responsible attitude towards capital markets and encourage informed investment decisions.
