Kathmandu. Nepal Infrastructure Investment Fund (NIF) is going to issue right shares to its shareholders from October 24.
The company will issue 33 per cent right shares in the ratio of 3:1 of the current paid-up capital of Rs 1.20 billion. According to this, the company will issue a total of 40 lakh units of right shares at a face value of Rs 100.
Shareholders will have to apply for these right shares within the office hours of November 14. If the application is not received from the shareholders within the stipulated period, then the sale will be done in other ways as per the decision of the board of directors.
The company has decided to close the book on October 30 to issue the right shares. This means that only the promoter shareholders who have been established before October 30 will be eligible to apply for the right shares.
