Kathmandu. The stock market fell sharply on Wednesday. The NEPSE index decreased by 0.26 points to close at 2,622.22.
The sub-group of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased while the sub-group of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 8 percent. During the day, the business group increased the most by 0.74 percent, while the hotel and tourism group fell the most by 0.38 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 110 companies increased and the shares of 150 companies declined. Shares of 18 companies remained stable today.
Shareholders of Mount Everest Power and Sarbottam Paints earned the most in the market today. The share prices of both companies have risen by about 15 percent.

The shareholders of Manakamana Engineering suffered the most on this day. The company’s share price fell 8.45 percent.

The market was traded at Rs 3.29 billion today. Most of the trading was in the energy sector.
