National Life Insurance Company’s total business crosses Rs 10.75 billion, life insurance fund close to Rs 72 billion

Kathmandu. The National Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has been providing insurance coverage for the last fiscal year 2082. The company has made public the unaudited financial statements of 83 years.

According to the financial report, the company incurred a loss of Rs 2.38 crore in the last fiscal year. Previous fiscal year 2081. The company made a profit of Rs 2.14 crore in the review period.

In the review year, the company had a catastrophic fund of Rs 40.1 million and retained earnings of Rs 3.68 billion. Last year, it was Rs 3.14 crore in the disaster fund and Rs 38.36 crore in retained earnings.

In the last fiscal year, the company’s life insurance fund stood at Rs 71.47 billion. In the same period of the previous year, the life insurance fund was Rs 62.19 billion. The life insurance fund size of the company increased by 14.93 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

In the review period, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 9.77 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the company earned Rs 9.63 billion in insurance premiums. The company’s total premium has increased by 1.40 percent compared to the previous year.

The company earned Rs 9.71 billion in net insurance premium in the last FY. In the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a net premium of Rs 9.56 billion. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net premium has increased by 1.58 percent.

The company has a net profit of Rs 13.15 crore with EPS of Rs 18.10 crore. The EPS was Rs. 11.86 a year ago.
