Kathmandu. Citizen Life Insurance Company in the last fiscal year 2082. The company has made public the unaudited financial statements of 83 years.
According to the financial report, the company has earned a profit of Rs 39.08 crore in the last fiscal year. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 18.91 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company’s net profit increased by 106.63 percent in the review year compared to the previous year.
During the review year, the company had a net profit of Rs 44.96 crore in premium, Rs 26.94 crore in catastrophe fund, Rs 49.83 crore in retained earnings and Rs 36.26 crore in other equity. Last year, the company had invested Rs 44.96 crore in share premium, Rs 230.3 million in catastrophe fund, Rs 1.15 billion in retained earnings and Rs 368.9 million in other equity.
In the last fiscal year, the company’s life insurance fund stood at Rs 27.02 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the life insurance fund was Rs 19.85 billion. The size of the company’s life insurance fund has increased by 36.12 percent compared to the previous year.
In the review period, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 9.37 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the company earned Rs 7.54 billion in total insurance premiums. The company’s total premium has increased by 24.19 percent compared to the previous year.
In the last fiscal year, the company earned a net insurance premium of Rs 8.97 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a net profit of Rs 7.13 billion. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net premium has increased by 25.87 percent.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) has increased to Rs 7.82 from Rs 5 billion. The EPS was Rs 3.78 a year ago. The company has a PE ratio of 55.67 times and net worth per share of Rs 131.60.
