Kathmandu. National Insurance Company for the fiscal year 2082. The company has published its unaudited financial statements for the fourth quarter of FY83. According to the financial statement, most of the company’s indices have fallen.
The company with Rs 26.66 crore in share capital stood at Rs 3.21 billion in special reserves, Rs 70.94 crore in catastrophe fund, Rs 2.59 billion in retained earnings and Rs 10.15 billion in other equities.
Last year, the company had invested Rs 3.15 billion in special reserves, Rs 692.2 million in catastrophe fund, Rs 2.47 billion in retained earnings and Rs 10.7 billion in other equities.
During the review period, the company earned Rs 1.88 billion in total insurance premiums. Last year, the company earned a net profit of Rs. 1,745 crores. The company’s total premium income decreased by 0.21 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.
In the review year, the company earned a net insurance premium of Rs 23.16 crores. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the net insurance premium has decreased by 6.40 percent. The company had earned a net insurance premium of Rs 24.74 crore in the same period of the previous year

In the review period, the company spent Rs. 1.24 billion on reinsurance. In the same period of the last FY, the company had spent Rs 1.23 billion through reinsurance.
During the review period, the company earned a net profit of Rs 34.44 crores. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 42.76 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s profit decreased by 19.45 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.
The company has EPS of Rs 129.18. The net worth per share of the company is Rs 6,407.05.
