Kathmandu. The stock market rose marginally on Tuesday. The NEPSE index increased by 0.79 points to close at 2641.85.
The NEPSE sub-group has increased from 6 to 7. The hotel and tourism group saw the biggest rise by 0.50 per cent while the business group fell the most by 0.77 per cent.
Shares of 133 companies rose and 122 companies declined. Shares of 20 companies remained stable on the day.
On this day, the market was traded worth more than Rs 4.11 billion. Solu Hydropower Company has been traded the most.
