Stock market declines to Rs 3.67 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on the first trading day of the week. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 9.04 points to close at 2,641 points. Share prices of 82 companies increased and the share prices of 179 companies declined.

A total of 10.966 million units of shares of 352 companies were traded on the day, while over Rs 3.67 billion was traded. Shares of Solu Hydropower Company Ltd were the most traded today. Today, shares of the company worth Rs 46.37 crore were traded. Shares of Reedy Power worth Rs 29.27 crore were traded. Shares of First Microfinance Limited worth Rs 12.45 crore were traded.

Today, the investors of Corporate Development Bank have earned the most. Today, the company’s investors have gained 8.47 percent. Investors of Daramkhola Hydro have earned 6 percent each. Investors of First Microfinance have earned 4.61 percent. Investors of Upper Hewakhola have earned 4.47 percent.

Today, the highest number of losses have been made by the units of Reliable Samriddhi Yojana 2. Today, its unit owners lost 9.70 percent.
