Kathmandu. For the current fiscal year 2083. The government has fixed the salary and facilities of government employees, which has been increased from 84 percent.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a circular in the name of all the ministries, commissions, secretariats and offices, asking them to implement the increased salary, grade and monthly incentive allowance.
The salary of the chief secretary, the highest post in the civil service, will now be Rs 90,594. The starting scale of the Chief Secretary will be Rs 84,932 and Rs 2,831 per grade has been added to it.
Similarly, the salary of the special class secretary will be Rs 84,576. The secretary retiring will receive Rs 66,539 as pension.
Similarly, the salary of secondary (first class) in community schools has reached Rs 74,958. The starting salary has been increased to Rs 62,466 and Rs 2,082 per grade for grade six.
