Agricultural Development Bank’s Profit Declines 29.52%

Kathmandu. Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADB) has published its financial details for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2082/83. According to the financial statement published by the bank, the net profit of the bank has decreased.

During the review period, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 2.63 billion. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 3.73 billion in the same period last year. The profit of the bank decreased by 29.52 percent compared to the same period of the previous FY.

The bank has earned a net interest income of Rs 9.12 billion in the review period. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 9.44 billion in the same quarter last year. The bank’s net interest income was down 3.45 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the review period, the bank earned an operating profit of Rs 3.94 billion. This is less than the same period of the previous fiscal year. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 5.21 billion in the same quarter last year.

During the period, the bank collected deposits of Rs 347.21 billion. The bank had collected Rs 293.58 billion in the same period of the previous FY. The deposit collection has increased by 18.36 percent compared to the previous year. The loan investment has reached Rs 247.14 billion.

During the period, the bank’s net distributable profit stood at Rs. 57.26 crores. During the period, the bank’s EPS stood at Rs 16.11. The net worth per share is Rs 231.71.
