Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Friday, the last day of trading. On the day, the NEPSE index increased by 12.96 points to close at 2685.54.
As many as 11 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while two others declined. The non-life insurance group saw the biggest decline of 0.16 per cent while others saw a rise of 0.93 per cent.
Share prices of 180 companies increased and 82 companies declined. Shares of 13 companies remained stable today.
The market was traded at Rs 3.75 billion today. Most of the trading is of Reedy Power.
