Kathmandu. Indrive, the global mobility and delivery platform, has organized a ‘Creators Bhetghat’ program to encourage the creativity of Nepali content creators. Out of the content concepts submitted by the participating creators, 6 great ideas will be funded.
More than 60 content creators participated in the event. Do it.’ (Dream It. Do It.) It has also launched a new Creator Fellowship Program. Through this program, creators will get the support they need to turn the content of their long-cherished dreams into reality.
The event started with the participating creators presenting their plans and concepts regarding their dream content they want to create in Nepal. Based on the concept presented, ‘Dream It… Under the ‘Do It’ program, 6 best content ideas were selected.
This was followed by an informative session on what creators should pay attention to when collaborating with brands and various business entities. The session provided information on how to understand the terms of the agreement, determination of fair remuneration, intellectual property rights and possible risks that may arise in the course of the collaboration.
In the interactive phase, the participants were divided into 10 groups and engaged in creative activities related to pottery, painting and handicraft. Each group developed and presented their creative concepts in the form of content within a stipulated time. The presentation was evaluated on the basis of originality, creativity and implementation of the concept.
During the event, Indrive Nepal announced to provide financial support to the best content ideas submitted by 6 creators. The selected themes range from exposure to unique cuisines of different communities of Nepal to adventurous trips to Pokhara, personal dreams and creative projects.
The selected creators will receive the necessary financial support for the creation of the content. In addition, they will be given the opportunity to independently create content according to their concept and creative style.
The initiative comes at a time when the number and influence of content creators in Nepal is expanding rapidly. Content creation has emerged as an important medium of expression, employment, and income generation for Nepali youths.
With this initiation, Indrive aims to not only limit itself to mobility and ride-hailing services but also serve as a brand that will cater to the potential of Nepal’s creative youths and collaborate on their professional journey.
‘Dream it. The “Do It” program aims to build a sustainable creator community that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and long-term relationships to help creators truly build the content they envision.
The names of the selected creators will be revealed on InDrive Nepal’s official social media. The content they have created will be released gradually in the coming months.
