Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Monday, the first trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 1.46 points to close at 2,700.65.
Three sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 10 sub-groups decreased. The finance group was the top gainer on the day, while the mutual fund group fell by 0.68 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 116 companies increased and 143 companies declined. Shares of 14 companies remained stable today.
The market was traded at Rs 4.44 billion today. Sopan Pharmaceuticals was the most traded.
