Putin says Iran war won’t happen soon

Kathmandu. Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed hope that the conflict with Iran will end soon. However, he said that if that does not happen, all parties will suffer.

Speaking to reporters, Vladimir Putin said, “This is a very complex conflict and it puts us in a difficult situation because we have friendly relations with Iran and the Persian Gulf countries.” ’

“I don’t think either side is willing to escalate this conflict,” Putin said, referring to the ongoing talks with Iran and the United States. ’

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also met Putin during his visit to Russia. Russia has already appealed to all parties to establish peace.

Russia has also said it is ready to mediate between Iran and the United States. –Agency
