Kathmandu. The first annual general meeting of The Nilay Hotels Limited was held at the company’s office located at Thakre Rural Municipality-8 in Dhading district today. The AGM approved the Directors’ Report, Statement of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow for FY 2081/82 (FY 2081/82).
Likewise, the meeting also passed the proposal regarding appointment of auditor and determination of remuneration for the fiscal year 2082/83.
The AGM has endorsed important proposals such as initiating the process of initial public offering of shares, raising the required capital, managing debt and strategic partnership, forming joint ventures, collaborations with other companies or mergers and acquisitions as per the need.
Addressing the meeting, the Chairman of the company gave a detailed presentation on the establishment of the company, its progress so far, its financial position and its future strategic plan. He said that remarkable progress has been made in the construction of hotels and preparations were underway to operate the service soon.
