Kathmandu. Another case has also been filed at the Special Court claiming corruption in Pokhara Regional International Airport.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed corruption case against 21 persons, including the then Tourism Secretary Kedar Bahadur Adhikari and the then Director Generals of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Sanjeev Gautam and Rajan Pokharel. Two companies have also been named as defendants in the case.
The anti-graft body has demanded Rs 46,15,84,434 from the defendants. Earlier, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a case related to concession of revenue for the construction of Pokhara Airport.
