Kathmandu. According to the results of the election to the House of Representatives, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won a bigger number than other parties in the first-past-the-post (FPTP) category, while the proportional representation (PR) system has also garnered 18 lakh votes.
According to the Election Commission, the final results of 146 constituencies have been declared so far. Of them, the RSP alone has won in 113 constituencies. The candidates of the RSP are still leading in 12 constituencies.
Nepali Congress is the second largest winner with the highest number of victories. Nepali Congress candidates have won in 16 constituencies while they are leading in one constituency.
Similarly, the CPN-UML has won in 7 constituencies while the CPN (Maoist Centre) has won in 6 constituencies. CPN-UML is leading in 3 constituencies while CPN (Maoist Centre) is leading in 1 ward.
Similarly, the Labor Culture Party has won 2 seats, Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Independent have won 1 seat each.
Similarly, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has garnered 18 lakh votes in the proportional representation (PR) category. According to the data released by the Election Commission, a total of 3,650,961 proportional representation votes have been counted in various constituencies across the country so far. Out of this, the Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) alone has garnered 18,15,857 votes. This is 49.74 percent.
The Nepali Congress (NC) is the second largest proportional representation vote. The Nepali Congress has garnered 6,18,630 votes or 16.94 per cent.
Similarly, CPN-UML has bagged 519,353 votes while CPN (Maoist Centre) has bagged 245,804 votes. The UML has won 14.22 per cent of the total votes and the NCP has 6.73 per cent.
RPP has bagged 131,277 votes while Labour and Culture Party has bagged 78,072 votes.
