Kathmandu. On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the stock market rose by single digits. The NEPSE index increased by 6.03 points to close at 2654.93.
With the rise in the market, 9 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while 4 sub-groups have fallen. The non-life insurance group saw the biggest fall of 1.09 per cent while the production and processing group saw a decline of 0.41 per cent.
Shares of 137 companies rose and 118 declined. Shares of 7 companies remained stable on this day.
