Kathmandu. The Department of Passports will remain open even on public holidays.
Issuing a notice, the Department clarified that the Department would remain open for the purpose of passport distribution and other activities even on public holidays today, Wednesday and Thursday. A public holiday has been declared throughout the country on account of Gyalpo Lhosar today and Democracy Day tomorrow.
According to the Department, the service will be available from 10 am to 1 pm on both days.
The Department will provide passport distribution service today and the application form for passport will be collected tomorrow.
